Davey BF multistage booster
pumps give you the ultimate in strong, even water pressure for
existing pressurized shower and irrigation applications. The
Flow Sensor starts the pump as soon as the water flow exceeds 1.2 gpm and
keeps the pump running until the flow rate drops below 0.5 gpm.
Typical applications include:
- Multi-jet showers
- Irrigation
BF booster pumps are economical, compact, booster systems driven by quiet,
efficient, stainless steel pumps. Easy to
install, needs no adjustment and requires very little maintenance. Can be used
with water temperatures up to 150°F. Their corrosion resistant
construction can handle hard and acidic water supplies.
NOTE: Because the BF series uses a flow control, they
requires a minimum of 20 psi incoming pressure for the flow control to
operate consistently.

Choose the right size for your
application based on the performance curve above and the
following general descriptions:

14-30 is for low to medium pressure boost at medium and higher flows
-
14-45 is for medium to high pressure boost at low to medium flows
-
20-30 is for medium pressure boost at medium and higher flows
-
20-40 is for highest pressure boost at low to medium flows
NOTE: When
adding a BF Booster Pump to an existing pressurized water
supply (i.e. municipal systems or well systems) do not exceed
a total system pressure of 100 PSI. The total system pressure
will be the incoming supply pressure + max pump output pressure
from the table above. In addition, municipal water supply
pressures may vary over a 24 hour period. In such applications, a Pressure Regulator may be
required to provide a constant low pressure supply (<30 psi) to the pump inlet.
